I know I have been behind at blogging lately, with the wedding and traveling for work, I have been very busy!

The first week of May I was in New York for May Market in the fashion industry looking at all the coming fall lines. It was a busy week and a lot of fun. I also was able to have dinner with Kevin and Deb Avery while I was there and we had a good time.

The second weekend of May, my cute cousins on the Sargent side thru me a bridal shower. They had great sandwiches, fruit dip, and cheesecake. We had a fun time and I was spoiled with gifts from my family and friends.

Over Memorial Day weekend I went to California for my bachelorette party. Kasi, Katie, Brittany, and I went (Nicki was in Hawaii and Kara couldn't get away from Denver and work). We went to Disneyland and California Adventures and had a great time! - more to come in a later post.

After the bachelorette party I had another bridal shower thrown by my mom's friends. My grandma took a fall at the shower and ended up breaking two ribs, but she was a trooper and stayed the whole time. Once again I was spoiled with gifts.

The weekend before the wedding I went to the JCK show in Las Vegas. For those of you that don't know, JCK is the biggest jewelry show in in the industry; It's a show with 1000's of vendors and a good time. My schedule was jam packed running from booth to booth, meeting with our partners, picking out product and discussing sales and predicted forecasts. The show was at Mandalay Bay and was a huge success. We went out with one of our partners to Pure at Caesar's Palace one night and had a great time.

After the JCK show I had three days of work before I took time off for my wedding and honeymoon. On Tuesday June 7, my boss and my director pulled me into a meeting (spur the moment meetings usually aren't a good thing). They told me there were lots of changes happening in the company and I was affected by them......I GOT PROMOTED! I was promoted to an Associate Buyer in the Diamond department. I would be getting a new boss, learning a whole new world, and of course, a lovely raise. I was so excited and so far everything has been great!

Next comes June 10, 2011 - WEDDING DAY! Tim and I got hitched on Friday June 10, 2011 at Millcreek Inn. The weather was perfect, my dress was perfect, the entire day and evening was absolutely perfect! Tim and I shared our own vows and the day was very special, thus far the best day of my life! I am so thankful to share it with my family and amazing friends. I had such a great time and it will be a day I never forgot! - I will post pictures later.

Last but not least, Tim and I went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon! We spent 10 days enjoying the beaches, rain forests, the jungle, and most of all....being newlyweds! - pictures to come!
